TEDx KC Event Recap [Video]

August 29th, 20120 Comments »

Had a great time at the TEDx KC event at the new building for Kauffman Center for Performing Arts in downtown Kansas City, MO. My good friend Justin bought tickets before it sold out, and it was a great experience. The program was a well-ran independently organized event put on by a local group of creative individuals, along with the sponsors, and it was well-worth the ticket price. TED, which is an acronym for Technology Entertainment and Design, is an event series that features many of the greatest minds (so many to mention, but a few past speakers include, Al Gore, Richard Branson, Malcolm Gladwell, etc, etc) many dream about attending these events, and the TEDx series are held all over the world, which is a great alternative for many interested to attend a similar-like event as the official TED events. There were many great speakers sharing unique insight and ideas during this event, check out the video below to watch the entire event!
